Born in 2001 and started piano lessons at the age of 4 and gave his first solo public recital at age 12 in Bonn, Germany. In 2019, he was awarded a full scholarship to study at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music where he studies Bachelor of Music under the tutelage of Singaporean pianist and pedagogue, Dr Khoo Hui Ling.
In 2021, he was awarded the only Platinum Prize of his category in the Steinway Malaysia Young Concert Artists International Piano Competition. In 2021, he was awarded the only Platinum Prize of his category in the Steinway Malaysia Young Concert Artists International Piano Competition.
Academically, his recent project ‘Transforming Brahms’ ; an in-depth comparison between Brahms Op. 34 and 34b, was chosen to be featured in the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory Student's Presents forum. He has received A* results from his A-Level and IGCSE Music studies.
Beyond academics, he was a member of the Creative Curating team, working on programme notes and concert curation, as well as taking part in the conservatory orchestra, choir ensemble, chamber music ensemble, and brass ensemble. Other than the piano, he has explored and studied other musical instruments such as the French Horn and the Electric Bass.
