Go West Orientation marks your exciting first step into the UWA family. It鈥檚 your opportunity to explore campus, discover student resources, and start building connections that will support you throughout your college journey. Offered before each semester, Go West is a required experience for all new undergraduate freshmen and transfer students.

Through informative and interactive sessions, Go West provides everything you and your family need to succeed at the University of West Alabama鈥攆rom housing information to student organizations and more.

How Do I Register?

Preregistration for Go West Orientation is required. One business day after paying your Enrollment Confirmation Fee, complete your registration.

Can My Parent or Guardian Attend UWA Orientation?

Absolutely! Go West Orientation offers key information to support families during this exciting transition. The registration fee is $25 per parent/guest.

Students will have the opportunity to register their guests when they complete the orientation registration form in their application portal.
